The M10 V2’s updated gain algorithms allow for higher output levels with inefficient speakers. Renowned nCore amplification technology conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel is included behind the full-color display that doubles as an intuitive touchscreen controller for volume, sources and other audio controls. Featuring an upgraded 7” IPS color touchscreen, the M10V2 delivers purer colors and a wider viewing angle than its predecessor. For smart homes, the M10 V2 can be integrated into Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and other home-automation systems, so you can control music playback, along with other home systems like lighting, shades, HVAC, and security.īringing everything but the speakers to the hi-fi experience, the M10 V2 features audiophile-grade amplification and DAC, with built in sources and pre-amp capabilities.

The M10 V2 supports AirPlay 2, Bluetooth aptX HD, is Roon Ready, and can be used with popular voice control assistants. Streaming music can be controlled through the BluOS app, which includes dozens of natively integrated music streaming services and thousands of Internet radio stations. New to this iteration of the product is an included an IR remote control for easy access to basic audio controls and presets. The M10 V2 offers an abundance of control options the most captivating of which is a beautiful full- color touchscreen front panel. The M10 V2 is capable of transmitting to rear channels wirelessly, with very low latency, making connecting wires around the room unnecessary. Home theatre fans can easily build a Dolby Digital Surround Sound wireless 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2 immersive home theatre system using a pair of BluOS surround-enabled wireless speakers or amplifiers.
Output settings for the subwoofer are easily controlled and adjusted through the BluOS Controller app. The NAD M10 V2 includes audiophile–grade speaker terminals and two independent subwoofer jacks. Check out the release below for all the specs. Also included is Dirac Live room correction, Roon Ready and a fully capable list of streaming features.

The NAD M10 V2 still packs in 100 watts per channel, a BluOS base and full facing color screen, but now the tech is just a bit more refined for modern living and there is even the option to round things up to 4.2 surround sound setups via wireless connections in BluOS. And as such, the long running company announced this week that the popular NAD Masters M1 V2 Streaming Amp will take the helm, bringing along with it a few new upgrades. While 2019 might seem like just a moment ago (or a lifetime ago considering everything that has taken place in-between now and then) it is a considerable timeframe for cutting edge digital tech. The carefully curated single piece of gear was connected to a pair of Dali Epicon 6 floorstanders, undoubtedly presented in such a way to as to show of the sonic prowess that can achieved through such a small piece of claimed real estate. It’s mostly suppressing resonance up to about 100hz then boosting between 100 and 300hz.I first was introduced to the M10 by NAD some years ago at CES 2019.

I still love what Dirac does up to 300hz and don’t mind at all that I’m only using a fraction of the range the full license of the SHD offers. (Yes, I’ve tried 0 degree miniDSP instructions and 90 degree Dirac instructions, and I’m using a Cross-Spectrum Labs calibrated UMIK-1, and I’ve done measurements several times using the “couch” position all carefully and evenly spaced, and using a microphone stand). When I run Dirac full range I lose air around the vocals and overall the presentation just sounds more compressed and canned to my ears. if a speaker has a BBC dip you want to adjust. If they did that, I could see running one set of curtains 20-300hz to handle room modes, then setting another curtain for 2k-5khz, e.g. I probably wouldn’t go this route if Dirac allowed us to set multiple sets of curtains. Above that curtain, then I can pick and choose what to lightly PEQ.
I don’t love what Dirac does above around 300hz so I set my high curtain there. I’ve used something like this and I think it works well.
